For the longest time now I have wanted to do the ombre hair. Well, I was looking on pinterest one evening and came across A pin that used the L'oreal Paris Feria Ombre Hair color kit. I knew instantly that I had to have it. I could do the ombre look at home instead of going to A salon and I could save so much money by doing it myself. It said it was sold in Walmart stores so I immediatly went and looked up the closet Walmart to me to see if they had it, they did. So I talked the husband into going with me and when we got there, they had none. Unsure what to do I started thinking about it, did I really want to drive like 30 miles to another Walmart to see if they had it just to be dissapointed if they did not? I decided not to. So instead, I came up with this...I have blonde hair and I wanted to go darker on the ends, so I got A regular hair color that I liked and I went out and bought A Denture toothbrush. Yes, you heard me right, A toothbrush for your dentures. It was cheap, I only paid $1.00 for it. So, in total I roughly spent $6.00 for the hair dye and the Denture brush. I was excited to get home and try it out. I got home changed into an old shirt so I didn't mess up my nice Easter Dress, I mixed up the hair dye just as the directions said, although I mixed it in an old bowl instead of the bottle. The reason I did this was because I could dip the denture brush into the bowl and I could just brush it into my hair. I went up as high as I wanted and put as much in my hair as I wanted. There are really no right or wrong ways to do this. It all depends on how you want your hair. I think the end result turned out really well and I love it. I took some before, during and after photos so I hope you enjoy and please if you do this yourself tweet me a picture at @srws_babydoll or find me on facebook.. Laura Winder. Enjoy the photos and let me know what you think!
